The Licking Flowers

One of our favorite family activities is to go for a walk. Matt and I love to get out and stroll hand in hand, Jefferson cranes his head in all directions to take everything in, and Harrison explores and discovers.
In the past few weeks Harrison has rediscovered honeysuckle and has formed a new addiction. Every evening on our walks he searches diligently for the" licking flowers" and about goes haywire when he sees the white and yellow blooms.
Matt stands there patiently producing microscopic drops of sweetness for Harrison to lick. He's tried to get the good stuff out himself, but he ends up with a mouthful of petals and pollen, but even that doesn't deter him from grabbing another handful. Honeysuckle may become extinct on our walking routes with Harrison on the hunt!
