1 Month LilyMae

Happy One Month my pretty little princess. Now I get that you're totally confused seeing you were a month old about three weeks ago.
And here you are about to be two months old and I'm just now posting about your first 30 days, but just grin and nod and know you are in for a whirlwind of a non-stop crazy loud happy life.
You are in newborn to size 1 diapers, and 0-3 months clothing (which consists mainly of the color pink and always topped with a bow).
You are smiling and cooing already and love tummy time. You can hold your head and shoulders up off the ground and look around at your wild big brothers.
At your check up yesterday you weighed 9 1/2 lb, 21 1/2" long and impressed the doctor with your head control and verbal skills. You like keeping eye contact with the person who gets to be entertained by your adorable "coos" and if they look away you start are such a girl! (in the most perfect way ever!)
Your brothers are enamored by you, cuddling and kissing you with every opportunity. Your Daddy is wrapped around that tiny little pinky of yours. And I cannot image life without your sunshine smile filling my day. You're the most perfect little bundle of pink and God blessed us richly when He gifted us you! We love you LilyMae!

Father's Day, Photo Shoots, and Galaxies Far Away...

I'm not sure why I keep attempting some sort of Father's Day picture gift especially with what happened the last time...big fail.
At least it gave us a fun story, once the boys recovered from the trauma.
But this year I figured if I could get them interested in the concept it may help. They did not disappoint. The older two jumped right into character, in fact it took most of the rest of the day for them to leave character.
Wils wasn't a fan of wearing the mask and LilyMae wasn't happy with her hair, but with the help of a postal worker delivering packages who helped get the Star Wars kids' attention in the same direction, we'll call this a Father's Day miracle!
Happy Father's Day Matt from your Jedi knight, handsome pilot, little vader, and princess. These are some very blessed kids to have you to make them chocolate milk, flip them upside down, teach them everything about every sport, and shepherd them towards their Heavenly Father.
We love you!

What's Up with Us?

It's been quiet around the blog lately. Ok, I'm being modest. It's been dead silent around the blog lately.
And while it would be easy to blame it on having a newborn and not enough time, that's not really the case.
I was blessed with a very laid back, go with the flow, newborn so I've got plenty of time to sit down and blog.
It's not because I don't want to blog anymore and have lost interest in it.
Because honestly there are some nights I'm lying in bed trying to fall asleep and a brilliant post pops into my head and I write it out mentally and forget it when I wake up. But none the less, I'm rather connected to this little corner of the internet.
No, it's been pretty lifeless around here because of, well, life.
Summertime is here in force and we are outside in sprinklers and slip n' slides, engaged in heavy water gun fire, and puddle splashing.
The garden is growing, so are the weeds, and so are these little men...faster than I would like.
So while the days are long and sunny, I'll be outside, with them, and not necessarily blogging daily. But with the antics these guys go through I'm sure another post is in the making any moment!
