What is Throwback Thursday?

Every now and then the NFL teams will wear throwback jerseys for a game. These jerseys are from days gone by celebrating the team's history- where they have come from, their foundations, and memories. Throwbacks keep fresh in mind their rich histories. We all have rich histories; weather funny stories, ridiculous pictures, unexpected blessings, or answered prayers. In Joshua 4 God instructs the Israelites to set up 12 stones after crossing the Jordan river. When their children asked what these stones meant they could tell them of God's provision. It is always important to remember where you have come from, to celebrate God's provision, lessons learned, and overcome hardships.
