Harrison has recently become the proud owner of a very real bow and arrows.

So far so good. He knows all the safety rules, first being - they only come out when Daddy says so and is shooting it with him.

I have to say, the little man has some talent. He can load his arrow, pull back and get some pretty good distance not to mention keep good aim.

He has started out pretty low key, just shooting in to the ground and paper targets. And he was alright with that...until recently.

I should have known when he started quizzing me as to the history of archery and what "bows and arrows could shoot."

Since then, he has requested some deer and bad guys for target practice...oh boy.
