Throwback Thursday

Celebrating our past and blessings along the way.
Join us for our Throwback Thursday!

Matt decided to run for Student Senator during his first year of law school. Not that he didn't have enough on his plate already. He was juggling the rigors of law school, a new part time job, trying to find a place to live, campaign volunteer for multiple candidates, and oh, yeah did I mention he was getting married in two months at this point? That is one thing I love about Matt. He is always giving every last bit of himself to the things he believes in. He has a drive and passion that won't quit. When he gets an idea, he nurtures and grows it to see it come to fruition. He is a visionary and I love that every time I meet someone who has come across Matt's path they tell me how he inspired them, bettered them, or reached out to them.

Harrison, your Daddy may try to do a lot at once, but he never does anything half way and he never quits. Learn from your Daddy and always strive to leave things better than you found it. Oh yeah, this was his fun campaign poster! :)

  1. Hi Meg,
I'm a friend of your Mom's and met her through my son, Scott who attends Grace. In fact, I think Scott and your Matt share the same birthday (June 15). Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy your blog and love seeing how Harrison is growing -- you do such an excellent job of capturing the special things going on in your lives -- you have two special guys!

  2. Hi Mrs. Sharon!
Great to hear from you! I hear my traveling family had a great time with you a few weeks back! We have enjoyed getting to know Scott when we visit Richmond. Thank you so much for your kind words about this blog. I hope it keeps our families and friends feeling as much a part of Harrison's daily shananigans as possible. Thank you again for your encouragement!
