Oceanfront

We climbed to the top of Jockey's Ridge, we chased crabs with flashlights, we found sand in swim shorts, sweatshirts, and bed sheets.

We have sun golden hair and tanned skin, we have souvenirs, pictures, and memories.

We have eaten seafood, sword fought pirates, and watched sea turtles escape the surf.

We have slept in, stayed up late, played games, and shopped. We have tan lines, empty sunscreen bottles, and exfoliated toes.

We are richly blessed, living on memories, and so thankful to have spent the last week in the most magnificent place in God's creation...the oceanfront.
