38 Weeks

How Far Along: 38 Weeks

Size of Baby: 6 1/2lbs and 19 1/2 inches long

Gender: Girl!

Maternity Clothes: Clothes are about the same, but let's talk about the real highlight here, shoes- it's flip flop season people and breaking out all the sandals and open toed shoes has been pure therapy. So it's still a tad chilly most days, but I'm in denial and my freshly pinked and pedicured toes look happy in a pair of flip flops. It's what my baby girl would want ;)

Movement: About all she can do is stretch out every now and then, warping my abdomen into unnatural shapes. She gets hiccups a lot and loves finding comfy spots on top of my inner anatomy. 

Cravings: I bought myself a watermelon a few days ago...it's almost all gone. I feel no guilt over this.

Symptoms: Sleep is a thing of the past but that's ok because it's giving me lots of training for me and little lady's one on one time during the nights. I'm also contracting more as things gear up.

Best Moment of the Week: Honestly, just spending the weekend getting last minute stuff done as our family of five. We ran errands, got Jefferson some jeans he needed, Matt and I even got a quick dinner date which was very needed. We have her car seat out and ready to go (which I have to say is the most adorable pink polka dotted infant seat ever!). Now I should probably go pack a hospital bag :)
