30 Weeks
How Far Along: 30 Weeks
Size of Baby: 15 1/2 inches and 3lbs
Gender: Girl!
Maternity Clothes: A mix of regular and maternity tops, and I've pulled out some maternity dresses. The maternity pants just will not fit correctly and I've yet to wear any. But my bella band is in high demand these days!
Movement: This week her precious kicks, stretches, and rolls stopped late Thursday night. I tried everything to feel something, anything. I called the midwife and was admitted to L&D Friday morning in hopes we could see and hear our sweet baby girl. Under the monitors and poking and prodding, our little girl's heart beat sounded out strong and her movements picked up throughout the day. Our hearts soared in thanksgiving as proof of her thriving played out on the screens and nurses lovingly referred to our baby girl as Scarlett O'Hara due to the personality she was displaying.
We know God holds our baby girl and is knitting her perfectly. We truly appreciate everyone's prayer and encouragement throughout Friday's adventure and we are counting down the final 10 weeks until we get to meet our little drama queen face to face.

Cravings: Anyone want to take a guess? Still fruit! At my in-laws this week they graciously supplied a steady flow of my craving and I'm pretty sure I ate an entire watermelon by myself!
Symptoms: Nothing really new, still feeling great, plenty of energy, and just soaking up every little movement I feel her make. I'm still working out and lifting weights. In my past pregnancies I was running several miles a day and by this point I'd have the dreaded round ligament pain when running, but this pregnancy I haven't had that at all and I'm owing it to the strength training and core strengthening workouts I'm doing.
Best Moment of the Week: Laying in a hospital bed with my eyes glued to the monitors, watching and listening to my little girl's heart beat her presence and praise to her Maker!
