How Far Along: 31 Weeks
Size of Baby: 16 inches and 3.3lbs
Maternity Clothes: Still about the same; I've resigned to having the only body type not taken into consideration by maternity clothes designers.
Movement: This girl can move, and kick, and roll, and stretch, and loves digging tiny little feet into my ribs...all during the late night hours when most other humans this side of birth are trying to sleep. So I figure we have some sleep training to begin and get her on our crazy schedule of actually sleeping at night and keeping somersaults contained to daylight hours.
Cravings: If I can get it, it's still fruit. But thanks to insane snow falls and ice and basically an all out last offense of winter, coming by fresh fruit isn't as easy. But that's changing now that it looks like spring is pushing it's way forward. And due to lack of stomach space and an appetite suppressing effect of my thyroid medicine, food in general is just a chore to accomplish and not something I necessarily crave, desire, or want.
Symptoms: Besides sleep being interrupted by my growing gymnast, I'm also headed into that "wake up every few hours" training God programmed into expecting Mommas so the first few weeks of round the clock feedings aren't traumatic for my sleep deprived self, but for right now it's a lot of clock watching at hours I wish I was asleep.
Best Moment of the Week: Baby girl was blessed with an incredible shower by the ladies in our small group! She was celebrated with a tea party and prayer, and very treasured gifts and love!
