Holdin' On
The mornings are getting cooler, the days are getting shorter, and the leaves on the tree are noticeably becoming less green.
While I very much look forward to some of the fun holidays and events the cool weather brings, I sure am always sorry to see the last of summer fade away.
I think this guy shares my dismay of seeing summer end. He is begging to go out first thing in the morning and begging even still to go out before bedtime.
I can't say that he or I will be thrilled when the temperatures dip to the point of having to bundle up to even step out for a little bit.
In the meantime we are holdin' on to the last days of summer and drinking up every bit of warm sunshine. But I have a feeling, with this guy we will find just as much to enjoy, even in the colder weather.
