Baby's Firsts
This week includes many of our baby's firsts, first full four chambered heart beats, first time the placenta will start functioning, first baby movements! It is amazing that this baby already has every major organ and system in place! At 1 to 1 1/2 inches long this life is a perfectly formed miniature baby!
Well, my incredibly excited husband and proud Daddy to be is eager to chronicle all the "firsts" for our baby. We went walking by the ocean the night we had our ultra sound done, so Matt said that was our baby's first trip to the beach! Last night was the first Redskins game of the season, so football fan Dad declared it baby's first football game! While I am completely entertained by my wonderful husband and his milestones for our baby, mine are a little more simple. I would like to have "the first meal that I don't feel sick after," or "the first time I can do simple household chores without taking a nap"! But you know, I wouldn't trade any of it for the world! I'm so excited God chose us to be the parents of this life and we are in love with this baby! So for now we will be enamored parents and enjoy each and every "first"!
As a side note, egg omelets, toast, raisin bran cereal, lemonade, and jello rock! New foods to cross off the eating list are peanut butter, Mexican, Chinese, and french fries! Ewww! Ok, enough talking about that! :)

Matt's a funny one, isn't he? :P
ReplyDeleteI never thought I'd live to see the day Megan would turn her nose up at peanut butter....
