Why Eve Why?
Since we found out the news that God has blessed us with Our Little Clark on the way, a lot has happened, and my head is spinning to keep up.
With all of the wonder and joy of being pregnant come some not-so-pleasant experiences. In the legal world, the term “fruit of the poisonous tree” means that evidence improperly obtained by the police cannot be used in court. In our world, the “fruit of the poisonous tree” means that Megan is feeling tired and sick as a dog. Why you may ask?
EVE!!!
Yes, thanks to the first woman (no I’m not woman bashing) my wife has to suffer though sleep deprivation, fatigue, and nausea – and this is just the beginning.
Genesis 3:16 says, “To the woman He said, ‘I will greatly multiply your pain in childbirth, in pain you will bring forth children; yet your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you.’” (NASB) (Note: I tend to like John’s 3:16 better).
