Washington's Whole Hand Birthday Interview

Washington is now a whole hand! It's a big milestone in our family for many reasons, but for this guy, the baby of our family, to now be five years old means we've entered the era of all "big kids" and no more toddlers. 

And this guy is one awesome big kid! His personality is huge and his heart is bigger. 

So without further ado, here is the official five year birthday interview!

What is your favorite color: Blue

What is your favorite thing to play: Legos, Wii, outside in the rain and mud

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast: Poptarts, the cupcake ones

What is your favorite song: Power in the Name, The marching one (The Lord's Army)

What is your favorite thing to eat for lunch: Homemade Luchables ( Sliced cheeses, meats, crackers, olives, veggies; basically a charcuterie board) and pickle lunch ( a lunch meal he eats with his Daddy - tuna sandwiches with a side of pickles and carrot and celery sticks with Ranch dip.)

What is your favorite thing to play outside: Swimming in the pool, playing in the sand box, riding my bike

What is your favorite book: Busy Spider, Hungry Caterpillar, my Monster Truck and Construction Truck book, and Blueberries for Sal. 

What is your favorite thing to sleep with: My Whale-Whale and my elephant pillow, and all my animals!

What do you want to be when you grow up: A Fireman

Who is your best friend: My family! *breaks into a song about family is my best friends ever!*

What is your favorite holiday: Easter, I really like the eggs 

What is your favorite show to watch: Bluebirds! *laughs hysterically thinking he's made a funny joke* It's Paw Patrol for real mom

What is your favorite animal: Doggies, and cats

What is your favorite movie: Lion King, the first one, with Scar

What is your birthday meal: Pizza! With pepperoni!

What is your favorite fruit: Pears

What is your favorite drink: Chocolate milk and coffee, not super hot, sometimes cold coffee

What is your favorite special treat: Cotton Candy

What is your favorite game: Match 

If you could travel anywhere, where would you want to go: apple picking with a playground to play on.

What is your favorite Bible Story: Noah's Ark, I liked how Noah obeyed and built the huge ark!

What is your favorite Bible Sword (Verse): The bold one! (Joshua 1:9) 

Washington, you are truly such a joy! You never, EVER, stop moving; you hit the ground running, literally, every morning and you don't stop jumping, kicking, air boxing, wrestling, talking, until you crash into your bed at night and fall asleep in less than two minutes. You are always happy and grinning, spreading smiles wherever you go. You are so animated when telling a story or a joke. You love action and adventure. You love Star Wars, Avengers, time with your big brothers, and sneaking snacks and candy. You and your sister create amazing imaginary worlds and play for hours, sometimes even resulting in flooding the bathroom because your toys decided to "go to the beach". You always have some kind of healing injury from crashing, falling, bumping, or just being oblivious as your play your heart out. 

We are so incredibly honored God chose us to be your parents. We have loved every moment of watching you grow and we pray over and look forward to witnessing you live the life for which God has Created you. We love you Washington! Happy Whole Hand Birthday!
