Happy 8 Years Wils!

Today Wilson is 8 years old and in true Wilson form this whole day is full of happiness, laughing, surprises, positivity, and so much love. 

We're about to dive into some dairy free ice cream sundaes as requested by the birthday man. While we get sugar high, here is the official "Wilson's 8 year birthday interview"...

What's your favorite color: Blue, Red, and Green

What's your favorite thing to play with: My new Panda toy (Nesting doll)

What's your favorite thing to eat for lunch: Our homemade lunchables (sliced meats and cheeses, crackers, veggies, fruits, nuts, etc. Essentially a charcuterie board without the flair.) 

                                          

What's your favorite thing to wear: My new dinosaur bathing suit

What's your favorite thing to play outside: Swim in the pool  

What is your favorite holiday: Um, I think it's probably Christmas 

What's your favorite thing to sleep with: My blue, and my new fish (Disney World souvenir)

What is your favorite thing to eat for breakfast: Hole-in-Ones, bacon, and circle sausage (patties)

What is your favorite thing to watch on TV: Number Blocks, Green Eggs and Ham, and Baby Shark

What do you want to be when you grow up: I want to be a back massager at Dr. Michael's (a physical therapist with his favorite chiropractor.) 

What's your favorite movie: Kronk's New Groove

What's your favorite game: Go Fish and Battleship

What is your favorite fruit: Watermelon, wait is that a fruit?! Oh yeah, it is, that! Watermelon!

Who's your best friend: My brothers and sister and Jaden and Asher

What's your favorite song: My Lighthouse and the friends song at the end of the Lego Batman Movie

What's your favorite animal: Elephants and then a lot of water animals. I love being at aquariums and seeing all of the animals that live in the water. That's my favorite thing to do. 

What's your favorite drink: Grape juice

What's your favorite book: Look and Find books, The Mitten, The Little House, Mike Mulligan and His Steam Shovel

What's your favorite special treat: Tic Tags and those lollipops from Dr. Michael's office

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go: Disney World. I want to keep going back there. It was so much fun. I want to do the Dory aquarium again and ride Soar, the Millennium Falcon, and Rise of the Resistance. 

What's your birthday meal: Steak, deviled eggs, rolls, and ice cream sundaes 

What's your favorite Sword (Bible verse): Psalm 119:18 *recites it with passion*

What's your favorite account in the Bible: The flood during Noah's time. It shows God's power, He can do anything He wants to, but He also makes promises and keeps His promises. I also like David and the giant one!

Dear Wilson, when God made you He wrapped extra helpings of joy and kindness into every fiber of your being. You are walking light and love, a testimony of the Savior you live for and want to share with everyone you meet. You are quick to share, give your all, your most, and your best. You love a good joke and slapstick humor. You are an endless pit and constantly raid the fridge and pantry. You love telling stories and concept ideas for new shows. You love mashing music scores from movie soundtracks to create new tracks. You have a stubborn streak but you're learning to use it for good. You love math and target practice, bear hugs and swinging. We see a million ways God is growing you into an incredible man. We are blessed to be your parents and honored to call you our son. I'm so grateful God chose me to be your mom. We love you dearly.
